XF100 Piezoelectric Rain Gauge
Product Brief
XF 100 Piezoelectric Rain Gauge is a compact monitoring equipment developed for hydrology and water conservancy industry, which can achieve 24 hours continuous online monitoring of outdoor rainfall parameters. XF100 has no-moving parts and it is maintenance-free.
The piezoelectric rain sensor measures the weight of a single raindrop and calculates rainfall. The raindrop
receives the effect of raindrop weight and air resistance during the landing process. When reaching the
ground, it is a constant speed. According to P=mv, the impact weight can be obtained by measuring the
impact and then the continuous rainfall amount can be obtained.Piezoelectric rain sensors have no
mechanical parts,therefore more robust,sensitive and reliable than other rain gauges.
