The automatic sun tracking direct solar radiation meter uses angle sensors and four-quadrant light balance sensors to automatically track the sun's movements, so that the sunlight shines vertically into the radiation sensor's light tube. The instrument is composed of base, stand, screw, gear box, motor, microcomputer controller, direct radiation sensor, power supply and other parts. The tracking software runs according to the combination of the sun's trajectory and light tracking. Adopting the two-dimensional automatic tracking method, the solar declination angle tracking is automatically adjusted, which can realize the real-time tracking of the sun automatically in all weather.
The inside of the light tube of the direct solar radiation meter is composed of a light bar, an inner tube, a thermopile (sensing surface), a desiccant, etc. The induction component is a wire-wound electroplated multi-contact thermopile with a high-absorption black coating on its surface. The hot junction is on the induction surface, and the cold junction is in the body. The temperature difference potential generated in the linear range is proportional to the direct irradiance of the sun.
