Product Overview
DustCom is a dust pollution monitoring device designed specifically for photovoltaic scenarios. It quantifies the reduction in power generation efficiency caused by pollution by comparing the electrical performance of photovoltaic modules in clean and dusty states. The device uses the "Pollution Loss Index (SLI)" as an evaluation standard to provide a reliable basis for operation and maintenance decision-making for photovoltaic power stations.
It uses the IEC 60904 standard method to monitor component performance changes in real time, and is suitable for the integrated deployment of centralized power stations, distributed photovoltaic systems, and intelligent operation and maintenance platforms.

Technical parameters
Overview of working principle
DustCom Dust index calculation based on "module comparison method":
Deploy two photovoltaic modules of the same specifications
Module A is kept clean, and module B is exposed to the natural environment to form pollution
Measure the short-circuit current (Isc) and back temperature (T) of the two modules
Calculate the effective irradiance (Geff) according to the IEC 60904 standard
Calculate the pollution index SLI:
SLI = (1 - Geffs / Geffc) × 100%
Geffs: Effective irradiance calculated by the polluted module
Geffc: Effective irradiance calculated by the clean module
SLI can be used as an important parameter to judge the degree of photovoltaic pollution, and is widely used in the trigger mechanism of intelligent cleaning system or the formulation of operation and maintenance strategy.
